2. How We Use Your Information

- ASL Sign Recognition: Camera frames and photos you upload may be stored and used to train and improve our sign-recognition models. This does not apply to Gmail data (see section 3).

Linguasign AI's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically, regarding data obtained through Google Workspace APIs:

- No Advertising: We do NOT use your Gmail data for serving advertisements, retargeting, or personalized advertising.
- No Human Access: Human employees or contractors do NOT read your Gmail data unless:
- You provide explicit consent for troubleshooting a specific issue;
- It is necessary for security purposes (e.g., investigating abuse or fraud); or
- It is required to comply with applicable law or regulatory requirements.
- No AI Model Training: We do NOT use Gmail data to train generalized machine learning or artificial intelligence models.
4. Data Storage, Security, and Retention
- Data Minimization: We only retain Google user data for as long as necessary to fulfill the core service requested.
- Security Measures: We implement industry-standard encryption protocols (TLS/SSL for data in transit and AES-256 for data at rest) to safeguard your data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure.
